Time and quantum physics

Time and Quantum Physics in Generic Time Theory

Generic Time offers a conceptual way to discuss time and quantum physics by separating an underlying time reference from the local processes used to measure and observe events.

Measurement

GT treats measurement as a physical process, not as a detached coordinate label outside the universe.

Local process-time

Local process-time τ is expressed by real activity: atomic oscillations, clock ticks, circuit changes, or other physical processes.

Entanglement and same-time language

Quantum entanglement remains an open question in GT. However, GT offers a possible language for describing distant events as sharing the same underlying Generic Time T, even when they are separated in space and local process-time τ.
